Lots of credit goes to the man upstairs and N. Florida shapers like Mike Whisnant, Jim Dunlop and Tony Iannarone, who provided tons of knowledge and still continue to provide the majority of glasswork today. Constant feedback from the crews I shape for and from working with various shops such as Slackers in Jax Beach and Free Ride in Gainesville, allowed me to dial it up and have a lot of fun doing so.

Today my, stoke is in building custom boards with many of the boards continuing to go to the crews I have shaped for, for many years. With the level of surfing what it is today and guys who are continuously pushing their limits in locales from Florida to Cali to Nicaragua, I’m lucky enough to get great feedback and new ideas to work with. I just enjoy seeing everyone push their own boundaries.
